Burg Bentheim is the largest raised castle in North-West Germany. It was first mentioned in 1050. For five centuries, it has been owned by the counts and princes of Bentheim and Steinfurt.

Enjoy a beautiful evening at the Freilichtbühne Bad Bentheim. The roughly 200 active members are instructed by a professional director. In addition to the two summer plays, a play for children, and an evening play, winter holidays and other productions are put on regularly.
